Abstract

The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has brought unprecedented benefits in data generation, connectivity, and automation. However, it has also introduced significant privacy risks due to massive data collection, storage, and sharing across insecure networks. This paper discusses the evolving landscape of privacy threats in IoT ecosystems and explores strategies for securing big data produced by interconnected devices. By analyzing encryption techniques, privacy-by-design principles, and regulatory frameworks, we present an integrated view of the challenges and possible solutions. Our study highlights the urgency of robust privacy measures to safeguard users' sensitive information and ensure trust in IoT-driven environments.
