Abstract

The integration of privacy management into the Big Data lifecycle is crucial in  ensuring the protection of sensitive data while maximizing its utility. With the  increasing reliance on Big Data in various sectors, ranging from healthcare to  finance, the challenge of maintaining privacy throughout the data lifecycle has  grown significantly. This article explores the fundamental aspects of privacy  management, challenges faced during data collection, storage, processing, and  analysis, and proposes various approaches to integrate privacy mechanisms into the  Big Data lifecycle. A discussion on existing privacy frameworks, regulatory  compliance, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and differential privacy  is presented. This paper also examines practical case studies, offering insights into  best practices and potential future directions for privacy in Big Data systems.
