Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming industries by connecting billions of  devices and enabling the generation and collection of vast amounts of data,  commonly referred to as Big Data. While this data presents numerous opportunities  for innovation, it also raises significant privacy and security concerns. This paper  explores the security and privacy challenges in securing Big Data within the IoT  ecosystem, and proposes frameworks and techniques for addressing these issues. By  examining existing vulnerabilities, security protocols, and emerging technologies,  the study provides recommendations for ensuring data protection in the IoT  environment. Key challenges such as data encryption, access control, and secure  data transmission are discussed, alongside solutions like blockchain and federated  learning for enhancing privacy in IoT systems.
